Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Data Engineer/Analyst to collaborate with government clients, data scientists, and software engineers. You will develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and database structures to support IRS compliance activities and enable actionable insights from payment data.

You will design scalable data solutions, ensure data quality, and work across teams to validate analytical models before deployment, aligning with Cayuse’s values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in quantitative field.
• 2–5 years in data engineering and analytics.
• Experience with SQL databases and data pipelines.
• Experience with Spark or Hadoop preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala).
• Public Trust clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Government clients to understand needs and define data objectives.
• Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and DB structures.
• Perform data cleaning and exploratory analysis for reporting and ML.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to scale pipelines.
• Develop models and views for data access and visualization.
• Optimize storage and query performance; present findings to clients.
• Explain analytical concepts to stakeholders with varied backgrounds.
• Own tasks and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
