Job summary

BCD Travel seeks a Technical Business Analyst to work remotely with U.S. teams. You will translate data needs into functional requirements and lead large-scale data analyses to identify enrichment opportunities and data quality improvements.

In this remote role, you will develop dashboards to monitor data quality, collaborate with business users, and support testing, training, and deployment. A Bachelor's in IT or Business Analysis and data-centric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience as a business analyst or similar technical role, preferably in the data arena.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, data mapping.
• Proven technical skills with data analysis, data profiling tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and ability to work with development workflow tools.
• Ability to manage data projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to use data visualization tools to transform analysis into dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs
• Conduct data needs assessments and data analysis to understand data patterns, data quality issues and data enrichment opportunities
• Facilitate calls and meetings with development teams to review and refine functional requirements for development
• Develop processes and dashboards to monitor data quality and quality trending metrics
• Highlight quality issues to stakeholders and ensure the integrity of the data. Publish data quality reports to leadership
• Communicate with business users and stakeholders, providing updates on development status
• Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing, and training as needed
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
