Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Data Coordinator for the Transplant Institute in Boston, MA. After 3–6 months of training, the role may work primarily remotely with a remote/hybrid option available.

The position supports data capture, storage, and retrieval for clinical care, outcomes, quality improvement, and research. Responsibilities include collecting and entering data from various sources, integrating data across departments, and conducting routine data audits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience in medical terminology.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access) and other web-based apps. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.

Responsabilités

• Maintains data capture, storage, and retrieval interfaces for clinical care, outcome monitoring, quality improvement, and clinical research.
• Collects and enters clinical data from paper and electronic sources into databases.
• Interacts with clinical staff to determine data collection needs; recommends data fields, sources and processes.
• Integrates clinical data from multiple points of service and monitors data quality.
• Performs routine audits of data bases and collaborates with Systems Administrator and end users to fix issues.
