Job summary

Control Risks is hiring a Data Center Physical Security Assurance Manager to oversee security technology across client data center projects. You will inspect, monitor, and validate construction activities, ensure installations meet standards, and articulate risks with treatment options.

The role requires regular travel across campuses and a strong focus on safety and quality. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in data center assurance, with PSP preferred, and be capable of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of assurance experience in data center security.
• Experience conducting risk assessments for Data Centers.
• PSP preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% with short notice in region.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection test plans and QA/QC documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building security systems for compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Provide risk assessments for data center sites and highlight critical security concerns for improvement.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of security systems for proper functionality.
• Identify and report non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
• Maintain inspection reports, logs and QA/QC documentation for compliance tracking.
• Witness critical tests and document system start-ups and performance.
