Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Technical Data Center Security Assurance Manager to oversee review and improvement of security tech across client data center projects. You will inspect, monitor, and validate installations, testing, and contractor deliverables to meet specifications and client requirements.

The role is remote with regular travel to up to 10-15 campuses in a contained region, requiring readiness to respond quickly to on-site needs and maintain detailed quality records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in assurance, Data Center security or similar.
• Experience conducting risk assessments for data centers.
• Ability to travel up to 75% with short notice.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings and QA/QC docs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect security systems for contractual and industry compliance.
• Provide risk assessments for data center sites.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning.
• Report non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Witness critical tests and document system start-ups.
• Represent the client on-site and ensure safety and quality.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues.
