Job summary

Control Risks seeks a Technical Data Center Security Assurance Manager to oversee security technology reviews across client data center projects and ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.

You will inspect, monitor, and validate installations, testing, and contractor deliverables, identify risks, and communicate treatment options while coordinating with client teams across multiple campuses in a remote, travel-intensive role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of assurance experience in data center security or other highly secure environments.
• Experience conducting risk assessments for Data Centers.
• Ability to travel up to 75% with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building security systems for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
• Provide risk assessments for client data center sites and communicate critical security concerns for improvement.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of security systems; confirm functionality and performance.
• Identify and report non-conformances; coordinate corrective actions with contractors and engineers.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for QC and compliance tracking.
• Oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections and punch lists.
• Witness and document critical tests (pressure, leak tests, system start-ups).
• Verify quality of materials, workmanship and installations for adherence to specs.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers and inspectors to resolve issues.
• Maintain professionalism on site and in meetings; represent the client per contract requirements.
• Support alignment with project deliverables and risk treatment options.
