Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Project Manager to support Sr. Project Manager in a portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily in the data center market with additional work in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, and heavy industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or combination of experience and education.
• 5+ years of direct experience in project management within construction or similar industries.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong software skills and quick to learn new systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time.
• Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with computer-based estimating and billing/collections.

Responsibilities

• Estimate project scope and costs.
• Manage project expectations and subcontractor execution.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Track project expenses and budget.
• Prepare reports.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Participate in project coordination meetings.
• Research and prepare change requests to resolve design issues.
• Research and propose solutions to design problems and discrepancies.
• Monitor field/contract work for compliance with standards.
• Oversee submittals and RFIs.
• Support early billing and revenue tracking.
