Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Control System Designer to join our Buildings and Places team, with the option to work fully remotely from the US. The role focuses on designing automation and SCADA for data center infrastructure worldwide, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and ICT teams.

The position emphasizes industry standards, cybersecurity specifications, and scalable network design, with occasional travel for client meetings and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with BAS & PLC control system platforms.
• Experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (PMS/EPMS).
• Ability to verify compliance with US codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with mechanical design to develop control sequences for building and process systems.
• Coordinate with electrical design on network architectures for distribution and conditioning systems.
• Develop and tailor division 23/25 controls, instrumentation, and cyber security specs.
• Verify compliance with applicable US codes and engineering standards/practices.
