Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (ME/EE) for a full-time remote role with up to 75% travel. You will commission mechanical and electrical systems in data centers, perform functional tests, and support retro-commissioning and energy studies for diverse clients.

The role requires 2+ years of commissioning experience, knowledge of ASHRAE/LEED, and strong leadership and communication skills. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% for project work and training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning resources to predefined scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED).
• Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observations and review contract documents.
• Develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Contribute to retro-commissioning and energy studies.
• Support design and energy projects for varied clients and complex buildings.
• Assess, optimize, and commission utility plant systems as required.
