Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commissioning Engineer Project/Program Manager for Data Centers, a fully remote role with travel. The position offers a competitive base salary with bonus and benefits, including 401K, unlimited PTO, and comprehensive health coverage.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on data center commissioning experience in electrical/mechanical systems, strong project management, and leadership abilities to guide teams and ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of hands-on Data Center commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Experience with project management – scheduling, coordination with staff and contractors, accountability.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED).
• Willingness to be on-site ~60–70%.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for data center projects including MEP design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy modeling.
• Perform construction observations, review documents, develop functional test plans, execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
• Manage small to large Data Center projects to meet client expectations on technical excellence, budget, and schedule.
