Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Architect for a remote 12+ month contract. The role focuses on designing enterprise-scale infrastructure bridging on-premises, colocation, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include creating Azure landing zones, documenting architectures, and guiding delivery teams while aligning with security, governance, and operations requirements. Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solution or infrastructure architecture experience.
• Enterprise data center and colocation hosting expertise.
• Azure platform foundations and landing zone design.
• Availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery planning with monitoring.
• Secure connectivity and network segmentation design.
• Architecture diagrams, dependency maps, data flows, decision records.
• Clear communication of trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field (9+ years combined).
• Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent credentials.
• Regulated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect Azure landing zones and cloud infrastructure including identity, network, security, governance, and operations.
• Plan for availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational readiness with monitoring.
• Design secure connectivity and network segmentation across on-premises, colocation, and cloud.
• Create architecture diagrams, dependency maps, data flows, and decision records.
• Communicate technical solutions and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with network, security, and platform engineering in Agile/DevOps environments.
