Mercor seeks an Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Expert for data centers in a remote contract role paying $100–$140/hour. Start immediately and commit to 5–10 hours per week.

You will review complex data-center tasks and ensure designs align with US building codes and AHJ requirements, working asynchronously to meet deadlines. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data centers or complex infrastructure, strong ability to interpret large document sets and specifications, and credentials

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of U.S. building codes and engineering standards.
• Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, and technical registers.

Responsabilités

• Review complex engineering tasks in data-center projects to ensure realistic design and construction scenarios.
• Evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and compliance with building codes and AHJ requirements.
• Identify and resolve ambiguities, conflicting documents, and unrealistic deliverables.
• Improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and programmatic checks for better alignment with professional standards.
• Produce clear technical findings and validate tasks from start to finish.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality.
