Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Expert — Data Centers for a remote contract. Start date is immediate; commitment 5–10 hours per week.

Review complex data-center tasks, evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and AHJ code compliance. Interpret large document sets, resolve ambiguities, and produce clear findings to guide design and construction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of U.S. building codes and engineering standards.
• Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, and technical registers.

Role Responsibilities

Qualifications Must-Have

Preferred

• Experience in roles such as Senior Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Project Architect.
• PE , SE , or RA credentials.
• Experience at a leading multidisciplinary AEC or consulting engineering firm.
