Job summary

Ellucian is recruiting a Manager, Data Architecture in a fully remote role. You will lead a team of data architects across Snowflake, Informatica, and dbt, shaping the enterprise data architecture strategy and governance.

The role partners with business, product, and technology teams to enable self-serve analytics and AI/ML initiatives. Candidate should have 5+ years in data architecture and leadership, with deep experience in cloud data platforms and modern data tooling, plus familiarity with

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or its foreign equivalent in information systems, information management, computer science or information technology or closely related discipline.
• 60 months' experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or BI development, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• 3 years' experience with cloud-native data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift or Databricks) and modern data stack tools (e.g., Informatica, dbt, Airflow).
• Experience with enterprise business systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in building scalable, governed, and future-ready data platforms; stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data architects responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data solutions across platforms like Snowflake, Informatica, and dbt.
• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, and governance frameworks to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Oversee scalable data models, pipelines, and integration patterns for structured and semi-structured data sources.
• Partner with business, product, and technology teams to align data architecture with strategic goals and enable self-service analytics and predictive insights.
• Ensure data platform scalability, performance, and compliance with governance, lineage, and security standards; provide architectural leadership for visualization tools.
