Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking a Data Architect to define and govern an Azure-based data platform integrating Avatar NX, Salesforce, and financial systems. You will reverse-engineer Avatar NX data models and deliver scalable, governed data ecosystems for enterprise reporting and compliance.

This remote, US-based role requires 7+ years in data architecture, hands-on Azure experience, and collaboration with Finance, IT, and Analytics to standardize data contracts and lineage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data engineering.
• Experience integrating EHR, CRM, and financial systems.
• Reverse engineering undocumented schemas and building ERDs from live databases.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Azure data architecture (ingestion, staging, curated, reporting layers).
• Define enterprise data domains (Clinical, RCM, CRM, Finance).
• Establish canonical data models (Patient, Encounter, Claim, Revenue).
• Reverse engineer Avatar NX data model, including table structures, relationships, and data flows.
• Map vendor schemas to normalized structures and document models with version control.
