Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a Resident Solutions Architect to lead enterprise data and analytics initiatives using Databricks and cloud-native tech. You will design, optimize, and scale data platforms, partnering with client stakeholders and delivery teams to drive business outcomes.

With 7+ years in data engineering and analytics, you will shape architectures, guide deployments, and mentor teams in Spark, CI/CD, and MLOps. A strong Databricks background and certification are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
• Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification with required training.
• Proven experience delivering 6–8+ projects with Databricks hands-on development.
• Strong distributed computing with Apache Spark and performance tuning.
• Experience deploying solutions across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and multiple clouds.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, production deployments, and cloud-native methods.
• Working knowledge of MLOps frameworks and ML lifecycle management.
• Current knowledge of Databricks products and scalable, reliable governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering and analytics on Databricks.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps with client teams.
• Provide hands-on guidance for data platform development, optimization, and deployments.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps best practices.
• Mentor technical teams on distributed computing, Spark, and modern data platform design.
• Evaluate emerging Databricks and cloud capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.
