Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Data Analyst for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will help transform data into actionable insights and support next-generation analytics for Acxiom’s US and global businesses.

You will work with SQL, Python, R, and Spark to prepare datasets, validate products, and develop dashboards. The role requires 3–5 years in ETL, data warehousing, and cloud environments, with a quantitative degree, and collaboration with engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge or experience with one or more of: SQL, R, Python, Scala, Spark or similar language
• 3-5 years experience with ETL, data transformation, data mart development, data source ingestion, data pipelining, data warehousing solutions
• 3-5 years experience with cloud computing environments and/or certifications - Databricks and/or Snowflake is a plus.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insight to generate accurate analyses and models
• Ability to develop dashboards or reporting for monitoring data performance and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop an understanding of Acxiom products, tools, and processes
• Assist with validation and delivery of products or improvements
• Prepare analysis datasets by appending data, deduping, loading data to analysis applications, and merging with other datasets
• Perform queries on the data to discern data anomalies and quality audits to ensure accuracy of rules or statistical models
• Assist with engineering, build teams, delivery and platform teams to ensure data delivery and presentation
• Perform basic research/analysis including accuracy reports, cross-tabs, frequencies, data hygiene, correlations, data summaries, and profiles reports
• Collaborate with other data scientists and team leads to define project requirements including data sources, algorithms, and implementation
• Offer ideas for product/process improvements such as automation
• Extract, load, and transform data as preparation for modeling. Build and maintain data mart solutions to support scored model outputs
