Oscar Health Insurance is seeking a Manager of Data Analytics to join the Clinical Analytic Team. The role requires deep data expertise and collaboration across engineering, data, and customer success teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The position is remote and offers a base salary with annual bonuses and comprehensive benefits. You will lead data initiatives, triage complex data issues, and communicate insights to diverse audiences within a health insurance platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytical tool usage and reporting.
• 4+ years in client-facing roles managing external issues.
• 2+ years handling large datasets and delivering insights.
• 5+ examples of strong written and verbal communication about business reporting.
• 2+ years SQL experience with filters, aggregations, and CTEs; or Python/R with Pandas.
• 1+ years Excel/Google Sheets with VLOOKUP and nested IFs.
• 1+ years healthcare/insurance domain experience.
• 2+ years healthcare analytics, reporting, data management.
• Experience with Jira ticketing system.
• 2+ years building dashboards with Looker or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers and internal teams to triage data issues as first contact.
• Ask questions to identify root causes and business impacts of data issues.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to resolve issues in a complex system architecture.
• Articulate complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders with clear findings.
• Enhance dashboards to meet evolving user needs and define requirements.
• Create models/tools to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
• Collaborate across the organization and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Support strategic projects as needed.
• May lead a team of data analysts.
