Oscar Health Insurance is hiring a Manager of Data Analytics to join our Clinical Analytic Team. The role collaborates with engineering, data, and customer success to triage data issues and drive analytic initiatives.

The position is remote in the United States, offering a base pay range plus benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses. You will lead data analysts, build dashboards, and translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical work experience with analytical tools and reporting.
• 4+ years in a client-facing role with external issue management.
• 2+ years working with large datasets and distilling analyses.
• 5+ examples of strong communication skills around business reporting.
• 2+ years SQL, python/R with Pandas basics.
• 1+ years Google Sheets/Excel with advanced functions like VLOOKUP.
• 1+ years experience in healthcare/finance/insurance.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare analytics, reporting and data management.
• Experience with Jira and ticketing systems.
• 2+ years experience developing dashboards with Looker or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers and internal teams to triage data issues and be the first point of contact for production issues.
• Ask questions to identify root causes and business impacts of data issues.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to implement data solutions in a complex system.
• Explain complex data issues to non-technical colleagues, packaging findings clearly.
• Enhance operational and analytical dashboards to meet evolving user needs.
• Identify opportunities to build models and tools that streamline processes.
• Collaborate across the organization and manage stakeholder relationships to drive improvements.
• Support strategic projects and lead a team of data analysts when needed.
