Job summary

Zenni Optical is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics to bridge data architecture and strategic marketing initiatives in a remote role reporting to the Sr. Director of Data Engineering. You will translate large datasets into actionable insights and empower cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.

You will lead data literacy, own data-feed quality, and align metrics with Zenni’s growth objectives, while guiding a small team of two engineers through complex analytics projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data roles with 3+ years in fast-paced e-commerce
• Deep business domain knowledge across marketing functions (Performance Marketing, Lifecycle, Brand Marketing)
• Hands-on with marketing measurement methodologies (Last-Touch, MTA, incrementality testing, MMM, CVR)
• Experience designing data architecture and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for centralized warehouses
• Advanced fluency in SQL and Python; hands-on with modern tech stack

Responsibilities

• Champion data literacy and upskill Engagement Marketing teams
• Bridge Data and Engagement Marketing to improve collaboration and efficiency
• Integrate data with marketing platforms (Google, TikTok, Meta) to optimize ad delivery and AI performance
• Own data feed lifecycle: validation, monitoring, testing, alerting for data quality
• Define and align core metrics across teams to drive performance
• Lead data team strategy and roadmap to support Zenni’s growth
• Stay ahead of data engineering trends to maintain competitive capabilities
