Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager, Data Analyst to lead a small analytics team and shape the technical quality of the organization’s analytics work. You will partner with operations stakeholders to translate complex questions into actionable insights, dashboards, and recommendations.

This role focuses on performance coaching, setting analytical standards, solving data issues, and guiding the analytics roadmap. Remote work is available for US-based candidates; strong SQL/dbt and dashboard skills are

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics, BI, data analytics, or strategic operations.
• 2+ years managing analysts directly with focus on performance & growth.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries.
• Working fluency in dbt for data modeling.
• Experience building dashboards in Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Strong communication for senior stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 2-3 analysts with focus on performance and career growth.
• Set the technical standards for the team's output by reviewing SQL, dbt models, and analyses.
• Prioritize and manage a queue of requests from operations stakeholders, addressing tradeoffs as necessary.
• Lead complex analytical initiatives from problem identification to actionable recommendations.
• Diagnose data issues to provide concrete recommendations rather than just identifying symptoms.
• Set standards for operations dashboards and reporting for clear performance visibility.
• Collaborate on the analytics AI roadmap, ensuring alignment with operations analytics needs.
