Job summary

CAI is offering a Data Analyst Intern role that supports data analytics, cleansing, dashboard reporting, and quality review to turn data into actionable insights. This full-time internship is remote, running June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with a 40‑hour work week during core hours.

Interns will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with other interns, and engage with CAI leaders through programs and events, while developing essential data skills for health and human services projects.

Qualifications

• Current junior pursuing a degree in data analytics, statistics, health informatics, economics, or a related field.
• coursework or project experience involving data analysis, statistics, or research methods.
• Current junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Working knowledge of Excel functions including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience using SQL for querying relational data.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear summaries for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics, data cleansing, and dashboard reporting.
• Assist with data quality review and program quality checks.
