Job summary

CAI is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support data analytics, cleansing, dashboard reporting, and quality review while gaining hands-on experience turning data into actionable insights. This full-time internship will be remote and runs during the summer months, with a 40-hour work week.

The program emphasizes collaboration, exposure to CAI's leadership, and opportunities to work on health and human services projects in behavioral health, child welfare, and child support.

Qualifications

• Current junior pursuing relevant data analytics studies with a good GPA.
• Experience with data analysis, statistics, or research methods via coursework or projects.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational data.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards and visualizations.
• Attention to detail and ability to translate data into clear summaries.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics, cleansing, dashboard reporting, and data quality review.
• Turn data into meaningful insights for health and human services programs.
• Collaborate with interns and staff during the 9-week program.
• Prepare professional communications and documentation from analyses.
• Work with senior staff guidance and participate in public speaking opportunities.
