Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in a relevant field
• 1-5 years of programming experience in a professional or academic environment.
• Programming experience using Python, SQL, SAS, R or Stata.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience.
• Subject-matter knowledge in healthcare data preferred.
• Pass background investigation or security clearance for federally contracted work; EUA ID desired.

Responsibilities

• Work with large secondary data sources like Medicare/Medicaid data and survey data to answer health policy questions.
• Provide data processing optimization solutions, commonly on cloud platforms.
• Ensure data quality through all stages of processing with QC.
• Iteratively inform requirements and specifications with researchers to adjust code and findings.
