Job summary

Mutual of Enumclaw seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to design and govern analytics-ready data assets across the P&C value chain, partnering with product, actuarial, underwriting, claims, and finance to translate business logic into scalable data models and trusted reporting.

The role supports Snowflake medallion architecture, builds data pipelines with SQL and dbt, enables self-service analytics, and ensures data governance and quality within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• P&C insurance industry experience and knowledge of underwriting through claims.
• Experience designing and publishing dashboards and reports in Sigma or Power BI.
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt for data transformations.
• SQL proficiency; Python or similar scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge of data modeling (dimensional) and modern data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across functions to define KPIs and data specs.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports delivering trusted insights.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and semantic layers for self-service analytics.
• Contribute to data governance, quality, and agile delivery.
