Eliassen Group is recruiting for a Technical/Business Analyst/Engineer to work remotely on a contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on the Commercial Mortgage Data Warehouse, data quality, and data integration.

You will craft requirements, validate them with business and IT teams, and drive improvements within an Agile environment. Ideal candidates have strong SQL, Excel, and API experience, plus familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5-7 years IT-related experience such as Business Analysis or Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, document, and maintain business and functional requirements.
• Own development of requirements for support and enhancements in the Commercial Mortgage Data Warehouse.
• Transform business requirements into SQL statements.
• Analyze data to triage issues within the data model.
• Collaborate with data architects, sponsors, and IT teams within Agile.
• Analyze source system data to improve data quality.
• Identify data issues and potential solutions with the business.
• Automate data quality through business rules where possible.
• Review existing functionality and perform gap analysis for enhancements.
• Develop test plans and execute test scripts for changes.
• Research options and Feasibility for business requests.
• Coordinate integrations between systems including API/file exchanges.
