Job summary

Goody is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our remote-first team. You will partner with stakeholders across the company to build trusted data models and metrics that power decision-making and deliver actionable insights.

You will design, implement, and maintain self-serve data products and dashboards to support Growth, Finance, Product, and other teams. This role emphasizes collaboration, data quality, and governance, with exposure to a fast-growing software company and a strong data

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in analytics / data analysis / analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL: model data cleanly, handle edge cases, optimize queries, and explain logic.
• Comfortable defining metrics and pushing for clarity (what decision are we making?).
• Strong communication: can work with non-technical stakeholders and document clearly.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker).

Responsibilities

• Design and own business-critical metrics (definitions, edge cases, documentation).
• Build clean, reusable SQL models (transformation layer) that become source-of-truth datasets.
• Partner with stakeholders to turn ambiguous questions into clear analytical deliverables.
• Create self-serve datasets and lightweight reporting so teams can answer questions without bottlenecks.
• Improve data reliability: sanity checks, reconciliations, and data quality monitoring (as available).
• Contribute to analytics best practices (naming, documentation, metric governance).
