Job summary

Moore is seeking a Data Analyst to turn marketing performance data into practical insights for nonprofit clients. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data across channels, delivering clear reporting and trend-focused analysis to guide strategy.

Responsibilities include building dashboards, automating data procedures, and ensuring data quality. This role requires 1–3 years of analytical experience and strong Excel/SQL/Python skills, with remote-friendly Lanham, MD as the base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of analytical experience.
• Experience in direct marketing preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with fundraising metrics and segmentation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python; Snowflake is a plus.
• Understanding of relational database design and reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
• Experience with direct marketing attribution across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other business tools to inform client strategy.
• Transform data into usable information using Power BI, Excel, and other tools.
• Deploy automated data ingestion and transformation procedures.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deepen knowledge of clients’ programs.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Detect errors in data files or reports and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as required.
