Job summary

Montage Marketing Group is seeking a Data Analyst to support client-facing projects in a growing marketing and communications environment. This role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights for commercial, nonprofit, and public sector clients, including federal, state, and local government organizations.

The position is full-time and exempt, with a hybrid schedule at the Rockville, MD office and remote home office. The anticipated annual salary is $70,000 - $80,000.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or program evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field.
• Experience in a client-facing, professional services environment.
• Proficiency with Python/R and data visualization tools.
• SQL querying and database management.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms and ETL tools.
• Ability to translate findings for non-technical audiences.
• Located within commutable distance to Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to measure marketing effectiveness.
• Conduct audience, stakeholder, and campaign analyses for strategic decisions.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Apply predictive modeling and ML techniques to inform strategy.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define analytical requirements.
