Accelerate Change is seeking a freelance Data Analyst to support our voter registration and GOTV program for the 2026 cycle. This remote role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

and focuses on measuring impact and translating data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and partners. You’ll develop a measurement framework, analyze Messenger and SMS campaign performance, perform voter file matching, and build Looker Studio dashboards to provide decision-useful insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with data systems management, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and statistical models.
• Experience with voter file matching and civic engagement metrics is a plus.
• Commitment to social justice and mission-driven work.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document a measurement framework to assess GOTV impact.
• Analyze Messenger and SMS campaign performance and audience segments.
• Conduct voter file matching analysis to evaluate outreach effectiveness.
• Build Looker Studio dashboards for accessible insights.
• Generate ongoing reports during GOTV periods and surface actionable insights.
• Deliver a post-GOTV analysis summarizing outcomes and recommendations.
• Translate data into clear narratives and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with staff to define required data inputs and alignment with goals.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve GOTV data practices.
• Support ad hoc data inquiries as needed.
