Job summary

Medix is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to support an EHR transition and reporting modernization initiative. This 12+ month contract role is 100% remote with CST hours, focusing on migrating, rebuilding, and maintaining critical reporting assets as data moves from a legacy EHR to a new system.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data analytics, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and comfort with healthcare data and data modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data analyst experience in BI or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize complex queries.
• Experience with Power BI including data models and DAX.
• Proven work with healthcare data such as EHR or claims datasets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reliable data structures.

Responsibilities

• Migrate, rebuild, and maintain reports as EHR data transitions to a new system.
• Build and reconcile reports across legacy and new data pipelines.
• Develop blended data solutions and KPI reporting for the transition period.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Document report logic, data lineage, and source mappings for handover.
• Support analytics teams with migration and remediation during the transition.
