Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. seeks an experienced Digital Technical Specialist to lead healthcare data extraction, reporting, and analytics for clients.

You will work with EHR systems (Cerner, MEDITECH, Epic) to extract data, write CCL, and develop SQL-based datasets and dashboards. The role requires hands-on healthcare data experience, multi‑EHR extraction, strong SQL, and proficiency in SSRS/Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of healthcare experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data in clinical, financial, operational, or IT settings.
• Multi-EHR data extraction from Cerner, MEDITECH, Epic, or other platforms.
• Ability to write, test and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server ecosystem.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare data extraction across EHR systems.
• Develop, test, and tune CCL queries for data extraction.
• Build SQL-based extracts and datasets for reporting.
• Create and tune reports and dashboards in SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Translate clinical and business needs into technical designs.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define analytics requirements.
