Job summary

Oregon Lottery is seeking a Data Analyst 2 to join the IT Governance team in a remote role. You will analyze data, validate requirements, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions that support organizational objectives.

You will own data metadata, manage the backlog, and coordinate testing and releases to improve data quality and operational effectiveness across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting business systems, enterprise applications, technology solutions, data analysis, integrations, or related business processes; OR
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience supporting business systems, enterprise applications, technology solutions, data analysis, integrations, or related business processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and business processes to identify gaps, solve problems, and provide requirements producing actionable insights.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into effective data solutions.
• Own data metadata and champion quality using SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for system enhancements and projects.
• Manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment with scope and outcomes.
• Coordinate testing activities and support user acceptance testing and release efforts.
