Job summary

The Oregon Lottery is hiring a Data Analyst 2 to join the IT Governance team in a remote role. You will analyze information and business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into data-driven solutions using SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.

You will manage the data product backlog, coordinate testing, support system enhancements, and drive improvements in data quality and operational performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in supporting business systems, data analysis, or related processes.
• Alternatively, 6 years of progressively responsible experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and business processes to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Gather, document, and validate requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Manage data product backlog and coordinate testing and release activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver data solutions.
• Maintain metadata and ensure data quality across all data assets.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and develop process documentation.
