Job summary

The Oregon Lottery is seeking a Data Analyst 2 to join the IT Governance team in a remote role. You will analyze data to support business decisions, act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, and manage data requirements and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of experience in business systems, data analysis, or related processes; or 6 years of progressive experience.
• Proven ability to analyze data to drive business decisions and improvements.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and translating requirements into technical specs.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and business processes to identify gaps and produce actionable insights.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define data and reporting needs.
• Manage data product backlog and coordinate testing and release activities.
• Develop and maintain data metadata, data models, and reporting solutions (SQL, Power BI, Synapse).
• Support UAT and ensure solutions meet data and business requirements prior to implementation.
