Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to support our Data & AI Studio, shaping data and AI engagements with Sales, Client Partners and Delivery, and driving high-impact opportunities. You will lead technical discovery and demos across Snowflake, Databricks and Google BigQuery, translating complex data capabilities into clear business value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI solutions with 2+ years in a pre-sales/solutions engineering/consulting role.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with modern data architectures and analytics/AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical partner in pre-sales across data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, whiteboarding workshops, and solution design discussions with customer stakeholders.
• Lead customer-facing demos of Bristlecone’s data and AI solutions, tailoring narratives to business outcomes.
• Translate customer challenges into scalable, cloud-native data and AI architectures on Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Google BigQuery.
• Design end-to-end solution approaches, including data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and AI enablement.
• Support RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and estimates with Sales and Delivery teams to define scope and approach.
• Collaborate with Data & AI Studio and partners on accelerators, playbooks, and reusable assets.
• Mentor junior architects and consultants on solutioning best practices.
