Job summary

Asurint is seeking a Manager, Data Acquisition to lead the Criminal and Housing Data Acquisition teams, overseeing data sources, quality, and performance. This role collaborates with the Director, Data Acquisition to expand coverage and drive process improvements while ensuring compliant, high-quality data operations.

Responsibilities include guiding team performance, managing resources and vendors, developing KPIs, and producing reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with XML and HTML and data extraction workflows.
• Experience using reporting tools and data sets to analyze data.
• Knowledge of the lifecycle of criminal records and reporting standards.
• Background screening experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees, coaches, trains and develops, hires, and manages performance to goals.
• Manages team resources to support objectives and understands company strategy and trends.
• Manages vendors and outside data providers; sets expectations and accountability.
• Monitors processes to yield low cost, high quality compliant results.
• Forecasts resource needs based on volume and pipeline.
• Develops and enhances team KPIs for high performance.
• Creates team policies for successful operation.
• Develops training initiatives from quality data.
• Oversees department quality audits to measure effectiveness.
• Recommends process improvements for efficiency and onboarding.
• Tracks trends and reports to leadership.
• Prepares reports and statistics on team output.
• Acts as escalation point for data issues; resolves problems.
• Completes special projects; other duties as required.
