Translation Excellence, Inc. seeks a Life Science Linguist on a remote, 1099 contractor basis to translate, revise, and edit highly technical, regulatory documents from English (USA) to Danish.

You will maintain glossary databases, translation memories, and ensure ISO 17100 and ISO 13485 QA compliance across projects such as clinical protocols, ICFs, regulatory dossiers, and medical device manuals. Advanced life science degree or translation background required.

Qualifications

• Advanced life science degree or translation-focused degree with field experience.
• 5+ years professional life science translation/editing.
• Native-level target language fluency and professional source-language mastery.
• Experience with regulatory content (EMA/FDA, MedDRA/EDQM).
• Proficient with CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ, Memsource).

Responsabilités

• Translate life science docs from English (USA) to Danish with technical accuracy.
• Review and revise translations against source text to prevent omissions.
• Edit and proofread for publication-ready, regulatory submission quality.
• Manage terminology with glossaries and translation memories.
• Ensure QA compliance to ISO 17100 and ISO 13485 standards.
