Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a seasoned D365 F&O Functional Lead for a remote, contractor engagement. You will lead Finance and Supply Chain configurations, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure successful end-to-end implementations.

You must be based in the United States with strong English communication and be available for occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA. The role requires deep functional expertise, hands-on configuration, and the ability to write or modify code to address

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong functional expertise in D365 F&O Finance and Supply Chain Management.
• Deep understanding of financial setups, transaction processing, and system configuration.
• Proven experience supporting month-end close and financial reconciliation processes.
• Based in the United States and available to work during US East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead D365 F&O workstreams across Finance and SCM functions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and configurations.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and recommend standard vs. custom solutions.
• Lead workshops and maintain stakeholder communications throughout the project.
• Provide functional guidance to business users and technical teams.
• Ensure configurations align with controls and operational needs.
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot code for customizations as needed.
