Job summary

Keeper Security, a leader in cybersecurity software, is hiring a Technical Writer to join the Marketing team. This 100% remote role offers a hybrid option for Chicago-area candidates.

You will author content on cybersecurity, identity security and emerging tech, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences and aligning with Keeper’s messaging. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical writing, SaaS or security-focused writing, and strong collaboration with product and engineering teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing or related field.
• Experience writing about cybersecurity, SaaS or enterprise technology.
• Ability to explain complex tech clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong research, interviewing, writing and editing skills.
• Experience creating structured content such as docs, datasheets or product pages.

Responsibilities

• Research and write technical content about cybersecurity, identity security and related topics.
• Create product one-pagers, datasheets, white papers and blog posts.
• Translate complex concepts into audience-appropriate messaging.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to understand functionality and differentiators.
• Validate accuracy with engineers and subject matter experts.
• Develop content for technical and business audiences across multiple formats.
• Review and update existing content to stay current and consistent.
• Coordinate with SEO to optimize content briefs and search intent.
• Interview SMEs, manage multiple projects from outline to publication.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and industry terminology.
