Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for Smart Infrastructure. The role is remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting RMF-compliant cybersecurity for federal and mission-critical OT/IT environments.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, and Operations to address cybersecurity requirements from design through commissioning. Key work includes system hardening, vulnerability management, and creating compliance packages.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, IT/OT systems, networking, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of networking, system hardening, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, and communication skills.
• Up to 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Design and support secure IT/OT architectures for building automation and mission-critical systems.
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation, cybersecurity deliverables, and compliance packages.
• Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, risk reviews, and security control validation.
• Support secure configuration of field controllers, servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, databases, and applications.
• Perform cybersecurity testing, validation, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support and guidance to field and operations teams.
• Support pre-sales activities including specification review, solution development, scope definition, estimates, and technical proposals.
• Contribute to internal cybersecurity standards, processes, ATO initiatives, and knowledge sharing.
