Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to evaluate, manage, and strengthen cybersecurity controls in support of federal compliance requirements. The role focuses on NIST 800-53 v5, NIST 800-37, RMF, and SA&A across government and financial services environments.

Responsibilities include leading control assessments, documenting evidence, and maintaining SSPs/SARs/POA&Ms, while advising on privacy controls and security best practices to protect client systems.

Qualifications

• Experience performing cybersecurity control assessments in federal environments.
• Experience with RMF and SA&A lifecycle development of SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.

Responsibilities

• Perform control assessments per NIST 800-53 v5 and NIST 800-37.
• Lead SA&A process including documentation and evidence collection.
• Support RMF implementation and maintain security artifacts.
• Evaluate security and privacy controls for federal government and financial services.
• Develop SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
