Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring for a fully remote, project-based cybersecurity role. You will generate and validate patches for OSS-style repositories and work on vulnerability research tasks with flexible evenings and weekends.

Earn $300 per accepted task, with potential bonuses up to $180 per repository and a $200 referral bonus. This is a part-time, async position suitable for fitting around a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with vulnerability research or security auditing.
• Experience with fuzzing tools or OSS-fuzz style vulnerability research.
• Experience writing and patching code in C, C++, or similar low-level languages.

• Produce and validate patches for those repositories.
• Complete tasks independently within a flexible, async workflow.
