Job summary

AfterQuery is a remote, project-based research lab focused on advancing AI model training through novel datasets. You will generate and validate patches for OSS-fuzz style vulnerabilities and contribute to cutting-edge cybersecurity research.

The role offers fully asynchronous work with no fixed hours, allowing you to complete tasks in evenings or weekends. Compensation includes per-task pay and potential bonuses, with a referral bonus for bringing in qualified experts.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in vulnerability research or security auditing.
• Experience with fuzzing tools or OSS-fuzz style vulnerability research.
• Experience writing and patching code in C, C++, or similar low-level languages.
• More than 2 years of hands-on security research experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and validate patches for those repositories.
• Complete tasks independently within a flexible, async workflow.
