Job summary

You will design and maintain automated and SI-enabled detection across enterprise security tools, strengthening threat detection and response through automation, data analysis, and engineering efforts. You will collaborate with SOC, threat intel, and incident response teams, ensuring operational capabilities are functional, documented, and adaptable to evolving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT/security related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years relevant experience in detection engineering, automation, and security integration.
• Experience with SOAR, SI, and threat-informed detection design.
• Strong documentation, SOPs, and runbooks development.

Responsibilities

• Build automation and SI integration workflows to improve detection and response.
• Integrate security technologies into a cohesive detection architecture.
• Translate operational security needs into technical specs and implementations.
• Test, evaluate, and validate detections and automation workflows.
• Analyze telemetry for anomalies, trends, and gaps; recommend enhancements.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
