You will design, implement, and maintain automated and SI-enabled detection capabilities across enterprise security systems to strengthen threat detection and response. The role requires collaboration with security operations, threat intelligence, and incident response teams, plus strong documentation and ability to operationalize

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience in cyber threat and detection engineering.
• Knowledge of detection engineering, automation/SI, and security integration.
• Experience with security data analysis, testing, and validation.
• Strong documentation and sustainment skills; cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with emerging capabilities in SI/ML for security.

Responsibilities

• Build automation/SI integration workflows to improve detection and response.
• Integrate and optimize security technologies into a cohesive detection architecture.
• Translate operational security needs into technical specifications and implementations.
• Execute testing, evaluation, and validation of detections and automation workflows.
• Coordinate with SOC, threat intelligence, and incident response teams.
• Research and assess emerging security and SI/ML capabilities to enhance detection.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated/SI-enabled detection and integration capabilities.
