Job summary

Munich Re is seeking a Cyber & Technology Risk Underwriter I to underwrite Cyber and Technology E&O risks. This role will support the growth and profitability of the cyber portfolio while partnering with agents and brokers.

Key responsibilities include underwriting new business, quoting and issuing policies, and collaborating on educational efforts regarding cyber products. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant insurance experience.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $84,500 - $124,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry.
• 1+ years of cyber liability underwriting experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial underwriting and/or insurance marketing.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business for Cyber and Technology E&O risks.
• Quote and issue policies throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Monitor and recommend improvements to underwriting processes.
