Job summary

Hoplite Group is seeking a Cyber Strategy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a U.S. Government capacity-building effort focused on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and implementation planning.

The role is part-time with remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS). Availability is immediate; travel ~6 engagements annually. You will advise senior leadership on cyber strategy, governance, risk management, and organizational resilience.

Qualifications

• Executive level leadership experience in complex government cyber environments.
• Strategic planning and policy development for cyberspace operations.
• Experience creating cybersecurity policies addressing regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyze military/government cyber plans and draw insights.
• Understanding enterprise governance structures and reporting mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, and implementation plan.
• Advise senior leadership on cyber planning, governance, and risk management.
• Support organizational resilience and long-term mission success.
• Coordinate with partners for forward engagements and travel as required.
