Job summary

Merit America is seeking a Part-Time Technical Advisor to support learners remotely in the United States. This role emphasizes direct engagement, resource enhancement, and timely assistance to help learners progress from foundational concepts to advanced skills within their chosen track.

You will host weekly office hours, conduct 1:1 sessions, respond to questions in the Slack channel, review content, and participate in team discussions to improve the learning experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the track(s) you support with the ability to guide learners to resources.
• Familiarity with Zoom, GSuite, Slack for learner support and communications.
• Strong communication and teamwork; adapt to evolving content and learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly office hours for learners (approx. 1 hour).
• Conduct 1:1 sessions to address learners' questions and challenges.
• Respond to questions in the Slack channel within one business day.
• Review and refine learning content; suggest curriculum improvements.
• Participate in weekly team discussions to improve the learner experience.
