Job summary

Kinetic Potential (KP) is seeking Talent Advisors to instruct, coach, and mentor cohorts in Cybersecurity. This part-time role involves onboarding students, providing guidance, and supporting exam preparation with flexible hours.

The advisor will engage learners, demonstrate cybersecurity expertise, and contribute to project-based activities. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in cybersecurity with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping unemployed adults

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years in a supervisory capacity.
• Cybersecurity certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new student cohorts through the Training Certification program.
• Provide instruction and real-world guidance aligned with KP project activities.
• Support students during exam preparation with regular office hours.
• Respond to student questions via email Q&A.
• Engage students with frequent interaction to motivate learning.
• Guide students in collaboration and applying learning in projects.
